The wave settles well into the hard crust. This knife has a sustainably produced FSC certified red beech handle which has the characteristic of having a good grip or better grip even when wet. When beech becomes wet, the fibers stand up and thus provide a rougher surface when dry, unlike plastic variants. The blade is high quality stainless steel and with proper maintenance will last more than a lifetime. The metal is 100% recyclable and the handle is biodegradable.
