Buiten koken vereist serieuze gereedschappen. We hebben ons Overland Chef 8 Inch Koksmes gebouwd om robuust en veelzijdig te zijn. Het ultra-sterke canvas Micarta handvat heeft een gevormde pommel en een machinaal gemaakte lanyard oog voor een zekere, comfortabele grip bij elke taak rond de camping. Onze 60/40 lemmet slijping verplaatst extra gewicht over de snijkant, terwijl het ballistische clippunt kracht toevoegt aan de punt. Ondanks het extra gewicht is het Overland Koksmes verrassend responsief en levendig wanneer het op een snijplank wordt gebruikt. Scherp blijven is essentieel, dus we hebben nitro kobalt staal gebruikt dat een geweldige snede behoudt die gemakkelijk te herstellen is.

I really like the knife but I am disappointed that this knife is advertised and designed for camping/overlanding but doesn’t come with any sort of way to transport. The knife comes in a box and the blade is wrapped in cardboard. The leather sheath is no longer available for this size and the edge guards that are available on the website do not fit well (I called customer service for advice and they said they’d pass along the feedback to the owner). For this price tag, I would have expected something to protect the knife while in transport.
The Craftsmanship was hands down the best. Knife definitely won't disappoint Shipping was even faster than what I anticipated. Ready to order more. .
Got it for my dad he loves it. Light weight, durable and comfortable in the hand.
I fell in love with this knife the moment I saw it. The design, the materials, the aesthetics, its the definition of perfection. So I knew I knew I would end up purchasing it sooner or later. Well, I must not have been the only one who loved it. I had it for 1 week, and during work there was an emergency. I moved it from my cutting board to a safer place with all the house knives, stepped away for 10 minutes, when I came back my knife was missing. I checked everywhere, never found it. So long story short, this knife is a dream, but personally I HIGHLY suggest to buy the guard with the belt loop for safe keeping…..anyway, I’ll never stop saying that Messermiester out did themselves on this piece!!
