While traditional blocks store knives in slots, the Messermeister Magnetic Knife Block securely holds knives on its exterior in a beautiful fan-like shape. Different knives are easily identified, so you will reach for the correct blade for the specific task.
Shaped at 90º, the inside of the solid wood block consists of strong magnets that securely hold up to 10 knives, 5 on each side. It can also hold steels and scissors. The dimensions are as follows 10"w x 10"h x 3"d.

Great product. It's was heavy enough that pulling the knives off was easy. We don't put our serrated knives on it best they tend to scratch it up.
Dude! Now that I have bolted it to my Butcher Block it's absolutely amazing. Before doing so it really took 2 hands to utilize. Now it's like pulling a knife from a holster. Love it!
