Oliva Elite 16,5cm Nakiri

I love this knife. It has the square shape of the naikiri, but the added tip gives it extra function and reach - say for cutting broccoli stems off. It’s balanced and feels good in the hand.

I was very excited to get this knife, and it has lived up to my expectations. It just feels soooo nice to hold! The knife does not feel heavy, but has the type of weight that makes cutting feel clean and precise. The Kakiri is a new experience for me and it is a game changer for cutting things like carrots. . . or a large beet. It is also a beautiful thing to behold, just makes my kitchen happier!
